This page will allow the Admin Users to create and edit Comment Types, Categories, and Comments. Once created the Comment Types and Categories cannot be deleted but can be disabled.

Navigate to Project Type Misc. Configuration and Comment Types/Comments on the left hand menu.

Select your Jurisdiction and Project Type to create/edit comments of.

Create a New Comment Type

  1. Click the +New Comment Type button on the right side of the page

  1. Name the comment type as the Comment Type Description as the Comment Type Name, then use the Check to accept or X to cancel.

  1. The new Comment Type will show up at the bottom of the section.

Create a New Comment Category

  1. Click the +New Category button

  1. Enter name for the New Category. Click the Check or press enter to accept, click the X to cancel.

  2. The new Comment Category will show up under the Comment Type.

Add/Edit a Standard Comment to a Comment Category

  1. Click the Gear Icon next to to the desired Comment Category.

  2. Click the +New Comment button.

  3. Fill out the comment field, then press Save to accept.

  4. The new comment will be displayed along with other comments.

  5. Click and Drag the Arrow icons to organize the comments.

  6. Toggle the comments off/on.

  7. Use the Return button to go back to the Comment section

Additional Note: New Comment Types must be assigned to user(s) in user management, and have a configured comment category for them to be used on projects.
