Applications
Applications are the start of the process and will turn into Projects once they are approved. This page will go over various parts of a typical application.
Note: Because MGO is customized to each jurisdictions needs, the information on this guide may be different than what you are seeing. If you need additional support please contact the Help Desk.
Application Actions
Return - This returns the application to the applicant and allow them to edit the information. This is often used when applications require additional information before being accepted.
Reject - This will remove the application from the system. Depending on the application and jurisdiction settings, this may also remove it from the applicants account.
Accept - This will create a Project from the Application. The application will remain in the system but the customer will only see the project with the transferred information.
Address and Contact Information
This section is used for the core information related to the permit.
Physical Project Address
Verify the address
With the top option selected, click “Address Search” to bring up this pop-up.
Enter the address and zip codes into the fields and click “Search”
Customer Uploaded Files
Customers can upload a variety of files here for their permit including diagrams, plans, photos, and paperwork that might be needed for the project.
This page only allows for you to Delete the file.
WARNING: Deleted files are GONE from this dashboard and very difficult to retrieve.
Payments
This section will display payments for the application/project.
Project Type and Additional Information
This section allows you to clarify the Application Type and add additional information and comments.
Use the “Assigned to” drop-down list to assign someone to this application.
Application Question/Information
This section has more details about the project being applied for. These questions are unique to the jurisdiction but often include square footage, business name, customer name, scope of work, and other basic information about the job and location.
