Inspection Result Options
Within the “Result Options” menu users have the ability to manage existing inspection result options AND create new ones. The Jurisdictions/Project Types that are accessible are limited to those assigned to the logged in user.
Explanation of Configuration Settings
Active
Determines if the specific option is active. If an option is disabled, it will no longer show as an available option for resulting inspections in MGO Connect Work Orders.
Description
Represents the “name” of the result option that displays when resulting the inspection/viewing the inspection results.
Continue Workflow
Determines if when used as the result option, if a specific result marks the “Inspection Type” task within the “Requirements” tab of the project page as completed with a green checkmark, and allows the project continue to next steps.
Update Status
If there’s a status set in this column, the result option is configured to set the project’s status to the selected option upon completion of an inspection type.
[NOTE] - In tandem with having a result option configured to set project status, each individual inspection type that is to update status must also be updated to allow the status change. This setting is available under the “Inspection Types” menu.
[NOTE] - Please note that if you have configuration that updates project status when resulting an inspection, but in your configured options for results there’s not a project status selected to be set, your implementation has a special setup that must be updated by MGO staff at this point in time.
Action
When set with values outside of “Not Set”, this allows there to be an additional “dialogue box” when resulting inspections in MGO Connect to schedule a follow up inspection.
Suggest Next Date (Same Inspector): this option will default the follow up inspection to be set with the same inspection type and the same inspector. Allows to change these values before resulting.
Suggest Next Date (Unassigned): this option will default the follow up inspection to be set with the same inspection type and no specific inspector set. Allows to change these values before resulting.
Repeat Always: This option will default the follow up inspection to be set with the same inspector & inspection type. Does not allow these values to be manually altered at the time of resulting.
Custom Action Date Span/Days
This functionality is used in tandem with the “Action”. If there is no “Action” set, then this functionality will not have any function.
This allows the “Follow Up Inspection Date” that displays in the additional action pop-up dialogue to be customized/extended into the future by the amount of days set in the “Days” column.
Prevent CP Request
If this setting is set to “Yes”, once an inspection is resulted with the option, the specific inspection type that was resulted with the option cannot be re-requested through the customer portal.
Adds Fee
Having this setting enabled allows for a fee (typically re-inspection fees) to be automatically added when the result option is used to complete an inspection.
Please note that individual inspection types must have additional configuration to define which fee will be added per the result option being used. At this time, the setting up of which fees are added per the result/inspection type must be configured by MGO staff.
Sort Order
Controls the order of inspection results within MGO Connect.
