Multiple Session Edits
The DMS functionality allows users to edit/annotate files for multiple sessions simultaneously; even across projects. To do so properly, without losing any edit/annotation data, the following instructions should be followed:
To best explain how to do multiple session edits, let’s use an example scenario.
“User A” creates a new session “Session A”, clicks edit on one of the files to begin mark ups. While still having this file open in editor and potentially having unsaved changes, “User A” desires to also annotate/edit files for another project’s session, “Session B”.
“User A” must keep both the project AND the pop-up session window in MPN open, and should open a NEW tab to navigate to the second project where “Session B” is located. The user should then open the pop up window for “Session B”, click edit to launch their editor, and make annotations/edits. Before closing the “pop up session window” for a session they are currently editing files for, they should both save the files related to the session window that’s to be closed, and close the file in the editor.
